​HELPING PAW APPLICATION

If you are in need of a helping paw up within any of our community programs or funds and located in West Kelowna, Westbank, Peachland, Kelowna or Lake Country, please view our programs and funds and submit the application below.

To register, you must have children 18 or under that live with you in Lake Country, Kelowna, West Kelowna, Westbank First Nations or Peachland.  During the application process, you will be asked to upload photos or pdf copies of the following information (TIP:  you can simply take photos of your ID and the other documents with your cell phone and complete the whole application with your phone). 

1)  At least one piece of government photo ID for applicant (and spouse, if applicable). Examples are:

• Driver’s License
• BC ID card
• Current passport
• Permanent Resident Card
• Citizenship card
• Immigration papers with photo
• Nexus Card

PLEASE – No Social Insurance cards, store cards, birth certificates, student cards, or transit passes.

2)  At least one proof of current residence. Examples are:

• BC Hydro bill
• Fortis Gas bill
• Cable bill
• Rent papers from landlord

3)  Care Cards for all members in the family

​4) Proof of Income – upload all that apply to you. Note: If you are married you must also declare all family income, that includes spousal income, and upload any of the following relevant documents for your spouse.

​The following must be shown to prove family income:

• Current GAIN stub or Ministry form
• The last two months of E.I. stubs
• The last two employment paystubs
• The last two WCB payment stubs
• The last two months of ICBC payment stubs
• The last two pension payment statements
• Family maintenance payments
• All student loan statements
• Proof of self-employment income
• Most recent Child Tax Benefit Statement
• The last two months of all bank statements*

Family size determines allowable income level.

Once we have received your application, it will be sent to review and you will be notified by email of the decision.  If approved, your email will include a link to book your pick up location and time.
